Project Manager Orlando/ Tampa Area
Company Summary:
A large-scale specialty commercial walls and ceilings subcontractor focusing on drywall, insulation, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, plaster, stone, FRP, metal panels and themed elements.
Job Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of managing construction projects.
Essential Functions:
* Cultivates strong relationships and coordinate with project managers, superintendents, foreman, engineers, inspectors and subcontractors.
* Resolve issues, direct work, report project.
* Writes purchase orders using company boilerplate language to document all ordered work.
* Reviews with project manager, schedules, projected costs, change orders and technical specifications.
* Participates in progress meetings to discuss coordination issues, labor concerns, scheduling matters and material delivery schedules.
* Reviews contracts, scopes of work, project-related correspondence, etc., to ensure project progresses on schedule, on budget, in conformance with specifications and within contracted scope of work.
* Manages the project components for estimating and bidding processes.
* Reviews, comments and requests clarification on project drawings, specifications, submittals, change orders, subcontractor insurance policies and other documents.
* Provides field support to construction superintendents and foreman to help ensure compliance with contract documents, OSHA regulations, and specifications.
* Monitors and reports on quality control of assigned work.
* Work as a team with other staff members to problem solve collaboratively
* Tracks project costs (subcontractor, labor, material expenses, miscellaneous payments, etc.) to manage project budget.
* Review and process invoices.
* General knowledge of safety regulations and state building codes.
* General knowledge of general construction processes, practices and work sites.
* Ability to read and understand specifications, blueprints and engineering/architectural drawings.
* Ability to exercise independent judgment and make high quality decisions.
* Ability to resolve disputes and problems while minimizing team conflict.
Compensation Package Includes: Salary, Performance Bonus, Auto, Medical & Vacation:
Range = $ 120,000 to $200,000 negotiable pending experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
