Position Summary
The Project Superintendent ensures that all vacant apartments are thoroughly restored to “rent ready” status in a timely manner. The Project Superintendent is responsible for inspecting apartments, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, ordering various parts and materials, scheduling vendors and completing make ready punch checklists.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- 1-2 years of experience in property maintenance or construction experience required
Essential Job Functions:
- Understand and follow a scope of work for needed repairs
- Identify items out of scope and notify Project Manager of issues
- Diagnose electrical, plumbing and other issues to create a plan of action for repairs
- Perform general maintenance and upgrade repairs including drywall, texture, paint, carpentry, electrical, plumbing. Replacing or repairing various hardware, cabinets, etc. as required.
- Order and receive material needed to complete make ready tasks
- Review 3rd part vendor’s work and reschedule vendor for needed corrections The job description is not an all-inclusive list of functions and tasks. Job functions may be added, deleted, or modified at any time by the company without prior verbal or written notification.

- Attention to detail is required. Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to travel as required.
