| Aston Carter is seeking a highly qualified property accountant for a Tampa client in the commercial real estate industry. Qualified candidatesmust havecommercial real estate accounting experience including lease abstracts and CAM reconciliations.
JOB DUTIES:
- Support corporate and affiliated businesses with accounting services for commercial properties
- Adhere to GAAP to perform various accounting functions for real estate and related service companies
- Preparation of general ledger reconciliations
- Conduct month end close procedures for managed properties
- Process AP/AR for properties
- Responsible for CAM reconciliations, lease abstracts, budgeting for commercial properties, tenant billing, monthly journal entries, preparation of monthly financial statements, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ commercial real estate accounting experience (lease abstracts, CAM reconciliations, tenant billing, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- Working Knowledge of Yardi system strongly preferred
- Knowledge of AMSI and/or Kardin property management software is a plus
