Property Accountant Description:
$30-38,000 annually plus discretionary bonus, benefits, 401k, on site gym, Google-type culture
This position will provide general support for the accounting and field teams in the areas of data entry, analysis, reconciliations and reporting of all financial activity.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
*Review and analysis of financial data for each property to ensure accuracy
*Assist in the monthly reconciliations of all monthly closeout activities
*Prepare financial reports for management and investors
*Provide support and assistance to the field staff on accounting related matters for properties
*Enter in housing payments for all properties from different agencies
*Help monitor budgets for properties
REQUIRED:
1. Excellent understanding of GAAP and experience with financial reporting
2. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
3. Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
4. Accuracy and attention to detail while working at a fast pace and under tight deadlines
5. Excellent computer skills: – General understanding of computerized accounting systems- Yardi Voyager, preferred – Excellent working knowledge of Excel
6. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and work experience

: 1. Willing to work longer hours as needed
2. Some travel may be required
