Kennedy Investments owns and manages commercial office, retail, residential, and industrial properties throughout Tampa Bay. The Property Attendant – Maintenance supports the Property Management and Maintenance departments by inspecting and attending to properties on a regular basis, as well as responding to miscellaneous tenant issues and urgent maintenance calls as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Property Attendant – Maintenance will regularly inspect the properties managed by Kennedy Investments, including the common areas, parking lots, restrooms, lobbies and vacant spaces, documenting and photographing conditions, and reporting major problems or concerns to the property manager.
- Routine tasks include:
- Picking up loose litter, changing trash bags and keeping cans clean
- Using a blower to keep entryways and sidewalks free of debris
- Cleaning windows and doors, dusting for cobwebs, occasional light pressure washing
- Replacing light bulbs that are accessible and reporting burned out lamp posts lights
- Inspecting vacant spaces, securing doors and windows
- Delivering items to tenants and posting notices
- Checking properties for storm damage, loitering, abandoned vehicles, or other unwelcome activity
- Other tasks include troubleshooting common problems and completing miscellaneous requests for Property Management & Facilities Maintenance.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or Trade School Certificate
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, economical transportation capable of securely carrying small tools and equipment
- Driver’s license and an excellent driving record
- Good attention to detail
- Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects (up to 65 lbs)
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and tenant interaction
- Capable of using basic hand tools
- Comfortable using technology (e.g. mobile time keeping and reporting applications)
- Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) a plus
The ideal candidate for this position will have a keen interest in learning the basics of the commercial real estate management field and possess the potential for advancement within the organization.

Pay: $15.00 – $27.00 per hour
