Knox is looking for a renaissance Property Expert who likes to get their hands dirty. You likely have years of experience in the property world working in real estate investment, development, leasing, property management, or similar. Help us become a global force for wealth creation.
Our property operations division is the heart of the Knox experience for renters and property owners. As a member of the team, Knox Property Experts work with tenants, owners, and service providers to onboard homes, manage repairs, perform showings with the goal of limited days on market, and just about anything else that needs to be done. Knox is dedicated to providing a superior experience for tenants and property investors alike. You’ll be a member of a powerhouse team that is the face of this innovative company.
Experience in managing and performing residential leasing is requirement #1. That said, Knox does not recreate what’s been done before. Knox provides a renter and homeowner experience to be known as second-to-none. High-touch on details and big picture is an essential deliverable in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Leasing
- Set pricing schedule for marketing units
- Proven success in unit marketing and leasing process
- Showings and showing scheduling
- Rental applications, background and credit checks
- Move-ins/outs, security deposits, transfers, rent changes
- Annually raise rents and process renewals
- Identify opportunities to rent units faster and for better rent
- Compliance with applicable laws
- Create enticing listing pages as deliverables during showings
- Unit operations
- Occasional inspection of new client’s properties
- Key management
- Vendor relations, oversight and invoicing
- Property Investor relations
- Interact with occasional homeowner needs
- Provide market data and CMAs for Knox staff when requested
- Coordinate unit onboarding
Requirements & Skills:
- Real Estate Salesperson License and willingness to hang license with Knox
- 3+ years of experience leasing rental homes in your market
- Fair housing fundamentals
- Experience documenting units including taking good photographs and detailed documentation of unit features and systems.
- Basic property marketing skills in drafting an accurate, enticing listing description
- Must possess strong organizational and management skills.
- Multifamily experience is a plus.
- Experience working in a rapidly growing organization or startup is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented both in independent work and team collaboration
- Must be comfortable in a fast-changing, remote, and developing work environment, able to juggle and stay on top of deliverables
- Experience working in Salesforce and Hubspot is a plus
Total Compensation: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
Salary range reflects cash compensation, option package, and full benefits.
