We are seeking a detail oriented, professional property leasing consult for a family-owned business of residential and commercial properties. Immediate opening. Excellent attendance and punctuality are a must. The qualified individual will have the following:
- Minimum of one year of property leasing experience
- Knowledge of rental computer software program- Rent Manager a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter
- Team player
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing welcoming atmosphere for tenants and others
- Marketing properties available for lease
- Assisting in screening and selecting tenants
- Meeting family pets of potential tenants
- Preparing leases
- Collecting monthly rent and following up on delinquent accounts
- Determining former tenants’ balance or refund of security deposit and preparing disposition letters
- Utilizing software program to input tenant requests and maintenance needed for each property and updating daily
- Communicating with maintenance team to ensure issues are handled in a timely manner
- Obtaining quotes by vendors for work to be performed and for purchases needed
- Travel for the purpose of showing properties and other company business
- General office administration
Skills include:
- Ability to perform all duties of a leasing consultant
- Ability to work on Mac computer
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. M-F.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 /hour
Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
