THE ROLE

Under the direction of a Canadian-based General Manager and by working with local Tampa-based staff, interacts with current and prospective property owners to update them on the status of both routine operational tasks and special projects related to their C-Class apartment communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the client’s local representative overseeing their property investments
  • Perform regular site visits to the properties to ensure that routine and special tasks are performed as planned
  • Report on the status of work performed to both Canadian head office staff and property owners
  • Work with local Tampa-based staff in a constructive manner to ensure that property operational goals are met
  • Meet with prospective clients to discuss their property management needs
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintain a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers, clients and the general public
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one-year sales experience
  • Customer service or product sales background desirable
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Prefer sales / multi-family leasing experience
  • Marketing and budget experience preferred
  • Understanding of applicable Fair Housing laws and standards
  • Technology skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with the use of online business applications
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and auto insurance are preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other divisions in the best interests of overall goals of the company
