Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for identifying and meeting the maintenance needs of both the internal and external property, grounds, buildings and other facilities owned by the Company.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain buildings and grounds in an organized, scheduled manner
- Inspect building, equipment and appliances for functionality, checking for faults and fixing minor issues when appropriate
- Keep property clean and secured at all times
- Ensure that breakdowns in the facilities are promptly fixed internally or find professionals to carry out repairs
- Coordinate maintenance with all departments
- Identify and advise management on needed changes and provisions for replacement of old or damaged equipment
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, contractors, and vendors
- Assist others in repairs when needed
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of repairs, replacements, and causes of malfunctions, etc.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge and understanding of computers and systems
- Basic mechanical skills, plumbing skills, general maintenance skills and knowledge of electricity
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable of safety rules and regulations
- Ability to identify cause and effect relationships and address root causes of issues
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Work Environment: This is a full-time position regularly working in a warehouse / office environment that requires regular attendance and timeliness; schedule is varied hours and days including early mornings, weekends, and holidays; frequent exposure to loud noise, and varying temperatures.
Mental: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, schematics, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), instrument services manuals, and governmental regulations; clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.
Physical: Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, smell and see including close vision and ability to adjust focus; regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, twist, bend, and lift overhead; may semi-regularly climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift and/or move up to 60 pounds; travel as required.
