With our fleet of boom pumps range from 32-41 meters, our equipment is used to pump concrete to more difficult to reach areas in residential construction.

Objective:

The Property Maintenance worker is primarily responsible for assisting in all aspects of facility maintenance, renovation and repairs of all tangible property.

Reports to: Operations and Office Manager

Areas of Responsibility:

Property Maintenance

  • Performs daily inspections of the property to ensure areas are in proper condition
  • Completes preventative maintenance and general repairs of the buildings’ exterior and interior systems or any other deficiencies with manager approval
  • Remove and dispose of garbage on grounds, in common areas and at the entrance to maintain appearance standards.
  • Perform regular inventories of maintenance and grounds equipment and supplies to advise Manager of needs
  • Performs routine lawn and grounds maintenance and landscaping
  • Ensures office, break room, bathrooms and other common areas are always clean
  • Understand and follow all safety protocols including understanding MSDS on use of chemicals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Equipment & Fleet Maintenance

  • Assists Operations Manager and Boom Pump Operators with repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Performs unsupervised minor repairs as instructed by Operations Manager
  • Wash and maintain exterior cleanliness of all equipment as they are returned to shop yard
  • Paint all equipment as needed to ensure new and clean appearance is upheld
  • Inspects equipment, and ensures all maintenance standards are met (i.e. air brakes, oil, water, tire inflation, proper lighting, safety kit, windows, and lights, mirrors are clean)
  • Ensures that equipment is properly cleaned and stored inside garage at the end of each shift.
  • Arrange and organize pump attachments, parts and tools in designated areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Shop Maintenance

  • Cleans shop floor daily by using absorbents as needed, sweeping and properly disposing of used/ dirty absorbents
  • Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and equipment
  • Perform regular inventories of shop equipment and supplies to advise Manager of needs
  • Identifies and reports and potential hazards to Manager
  • Assists with any shipping and receiving
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Should be able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 90 lbs. Working environment is mainly outdoors or in garage.
