OVERVIEW:
The Property Management Collections position is responsible for assisting the Account Managers in a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: directing phone calls, opening and closing customer accounts, obtaining and emailing invoices, updating customer information, and scanning and filing. The Property Management Collections position requires average computer proficiency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Employee must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Employee must have 1 year of experience in a working environment.
- Must have previous property management, leasing or accounts payable/receivable experience.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Employee must have a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee must develop team skills and personal growth in work ethic.
- Employee must maintain company standards for accuracy and promptness in performing job duties and responsibilities.
- Employee must submit as directed all daily paperwork and completed assignments.
- Employee must use a time keeping device and software for work start times, lunch breaks and work finish time.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Directs Account Management telephone calls to appropriate personnel.
- Opens and closes customer accounts as needed in computer system.
- Obtains and emails invoice copies as requested for customers.
- Updates customer data as needed.
- Scans and files correspondence.
- Assists with related special projects as required.
