- ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Review of Landlord-billed utility expenses (water, sewer, grease trap, etc.), including coding and tracking.
- Handling of all RET assessments including communicating to tax appeal consultants.
- Review, preliminary approval and tracking of Real Estate Tax Bills.
- Responsible for coordination of tax appeal process.
- Requests for delinquent reconciliations, including tracking and following up.
- Requests for reconciliation backup, including tracking and following up.
- Research and reconciliation of Landlord statements.
- Mail coding and distribution for department.
- Review and interpret lease/property documents.
- Identify and report discrepancies in Real Estate Database.
- Communicate/correspond with Landlords regarding questions and concerns.
- Support Asset Management/Lease Administration Team as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with Landlords and provide support/service to field as applicable.
- REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Minimum of High School Diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred.
Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years relevant experience in commercial real estate lease administration and/or related field.
- Must have ability to independently examine/interpret leases, and analyze expense categories for reasonableness and accuracy.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook required.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and follow up.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Self- starter with ability to adapt and interact professionally with all levels of management.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Team building skills.
- Experience with Lawson and/or Accruent software a plus.
- Strong ability to self-manage.
