Rent Solutions is a growing, well established Property Management and Leasing Company with a team of real estate and rental property experts with in-depth knowledge of the local market.
Rent Solutions is currently seeking to fill a position in our Accounting Department. Our team consists of highly professional Property Managers, Leasing Specialists, Accounting and Administrative staff along with an in-house Attorney.
POSITION SUMMARY
The position assists with and oversees accounting related functions for Properties, Owners, Tenants, and Vendors.
- Communication – Assist with incoming calls, email and follow-up on accounting related matters
- Accounts Payable – Review enter and initiate payables and record credit card expenses
- Accounts Receivable – Record tenant payments and process deposits
- Accounting Team – Collaborates with the accounting/compliance assistants and third-party companies used for accounting and reconciliation functions
- Financial Reporting – Complete monthly financial management reports
- Other responsibilities as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1-2 years related experience in bookkeeping/accounting preferred
- Real Estate/Property Management experience
- Appfolio software experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and good with systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven problem solving, analytical, troubleshooting and time-management skills.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills; has ability to convey a clear and concise thought
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
