Job Description:

  • Responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, resident relations, and budgetary aspects of the site
  • Daily physical inspections of the property and direct supervision of the service, grounds and custodial personnel
  • Responsible for ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times for yourself and all property employees.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all personnel respond to resident requests or complaints in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Ability to interview residents for eligibility and process tax credit recertifications
  • Must be organized and timely in processing all paperwork
  • Clear communication in a positive manner with the residents
  • Operate the property in accordance with the Company’s Policies and Procedures manual, and the management plan for the property


Qualifications
:

  • High School diploma/GED and two years experience as an apartment manager or assistant property manager
  • Strong management, leasing, and marketing skills
  • Must be proficient in Word and Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of manuals and documents
  • Customer service experience in a hospitality or customer facing industry required
  • Subscribe fully to all policies and procedures of the Company and be prepared to enforce them at all times
  • Tax Credit/Housing Voucher Choice property management experience preferred
  • Must pass a background check, pre-employment drug testing, and approval by the Chicago Housing Authority
