PROPERTY MANAGER TRAINEE: We are searching for the right candidate to train as a property manager for the Hillsborough County market. We are combining two positions (Administrative Assistant/Property Manager) in order to create a professional manager who will be able to handle both the field work in the mornings and the office work in the afternoons. The first phase of training is the administrative side and will entail learning the inside policies, procedures and software for the first year. An employee who excels will be given an opportunity to learn the professional managers side of the business and slowly transition into that position.

Here is what we MUST have and what we would LIKE to have in a candidate:

MUST HAVE –

  • A professional attitude with a self-start mode that does not require supervision.
  • A smile on your face and in your voice with a record of providing excellent customer service.
  • A desire to grow professionally and a work ethic to prove it.
  • Competence in MS Office Word and Excel and the ability to create professional correspondence.
  • An intelligent curiosity with a desire to learn the field and excel as a professional.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license and good driving record with periodic checks done.
  • A natural instinct towards honesty in all that you do.
  • The ability to lift at least 40 pounds and complete outdoor property inspections all year round.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

WOULD LIKE, BUT NOT REQUIRED –

  • A strong office background and computer experience.
  • A basic understanding of accounting.
  • A desire to take this entry-level position with a growing company to new heights and responsibilities.
  • Some college or an interest in continuing your education in our field.

This position starts at $14-15.00 per hour depending upon experience and will increase regularly for the right person if they follow the professional manager track.
