Full Job Description
A brand new chain of pawnshops Cashop (Thejewelry,com) is seeking a property scout to support the expansion of the company.
This role is structured as a full-time position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate comes with at least 3 to 5 years of real estate searching experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Search for new locations using company criteria.
- Communicating with landlords, negotiating leases
- Launching and managing construction sites
- Work with partners internal and external to align stakeholders and move quickly to launch
- Travel to retail locations to build relationships with local talent and resolve any operational or people issues
- Over time, hire and grow a team to assist in scaling the winning concepts
Qualifications:
- Multiple years of experience in real estate searching/property scouting
- Proven aptitude to manage complex projects within time and budget constraints
- Strong communication skills
- Proven negotiating skills and influencing abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects: work prioritization, planning, task delegation, and hitting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience in business development, operations and/or new business creation
- Honest and forthright with unquestionable integrity
- Flexible and very comfortable with ambiguity and change
