Vector Travel is a short-term rental management company that partners directly with multifamily owners and property management companies seeking to monetize vacant units in stabilized or lease-up multifamily buildings.

We utilize proprietary revenue management strategies to generate maximum returns across all major travel platforms and share the majority of rental income with our partners.

The Role

We are looking for a Property Setup Manager who will be primarily focused on ensuring that new units are ready for guests by their planned opening date. Whether the units are empty or already furnished, the Property Launch Team will add the necessities required to prepare them to be operational, guest-ready, and up to our standards.

This is an entry-level position that is a tremendously fun job for the right personality. You’ll be traveling 80-90% of the time, with most expenses (food, accommodations, flights, Ubers, etc.) paid for!

In this role, you will travel to the site and supervise a team of contractors to:

  • Coordinate the organization and distribution of furniture and supplies.
  • Build furniture and organize units based on the designer’s specs.
  • Clear rooms of any trash and clean to hotel-level quality.
  • Stage rooms for photos.
  • Collect all of the necessary

  • During a property setup, you’ll make sure that everything is running smoothly. This is a very hands-on role that will guide work as well as getting your hands dirty by jumping in and assisting contractors to complete projects on time.

  • The Property Setup Manager also develops tutorials and video tours to preempt guest questions & issues: check-in/check-out instructions and documentation, complete with pictures and video tours.

  • The Property Setup Manager will also build and maintain positive relationships with building staff and ensure smooth hand-off of the completed project to Kasa’s offsite Partner Success and Guest Experience teams.

*Experience

  • You have a proven ability to schedule and supervise third-party contractors (movers, builders, housekeeping teams, locksmiths, etc.)
  • You are physically willing and able to help with moving furniture and supplies when needed (must be able to lift 100lbs.)
  • You have basic “handy-person” skills
  • Travel is part of your DNA and you have a passion for the real estate, tech, and hospitality industry

Plus if…

  • Experience in the travel & hospitality industry
  • Previous construction and/or maintenance experience
  • Previous logistics/warehousing experience
