Administrative Assistant
Fast-paced, growing General Contractor seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator – Administrative Assistant to fill an immediate opening. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, is dependable, pays attention to detail, and maintains accurate records. Working as a team to achieve deadlines, reach KPI’s, and adhering to the processes and procedures for a given task will eliminate costly errors and foster a team environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Reception and secretarial duties shared with office staff
- Coordinate and manage vender files, payments, and receipts
- Record and maintain personal expenses for field crews
- Record and maintain expense files for each job location and customer
- Order supplies and heavy equipment for each job, daily
- Monitor and report on rental equipment usage
- Maintain copies of Certificate of Insurance for all vendors and subcontractors
- Foster strong vendor relations for quick and optimal pricing
- Accounting responsibilities include: creating purchase orders (PO’s)
- General clerical responsibilities
- Personal responsibility for cleanliness of work space
- Other duties assigned as needed to ensure work flow efficiency

- Minimum 3 years of Construction experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Intermediate Word, Excel, PDF experience
- Full time – 40 hours
