Responsibilities:
- design and develop large scale, cloud based services.
Requirements:
- Successful candidate will have: 4+ years’ experience developing using Python and Python Packaging tools (PIP, Dist Utils, Distribute, Virtual Environment, etc.); Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, jQuery, etc.) in Python;
- knowledge of Python web frameworks (such as Heroku, Django, Tornado, etc.), REST APIs, and Web services;
- strong SQL-based RDBMS experience;
- knowledge of Messaging Bus and queueing (Active MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc);
- competence using Linux as primary development platform. This is a 6-month contract opportunity that could become a contract-to-hire.
