We are looking for a full-time real estate accountant to join our expanding team (But if you are looking for flexible hours, we are willing to work with the right candidate) You’ll be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. Responsibilities
Prepare detailed reconciliations for each account to ensure every transaction is accounted for
Handle all accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis to make sure each invoice and expense report is accurate
Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time
Utilize computer software to enter financial data and keep our records organized
Ensure all records are ready for monthly and quarterly reporting
Qualifications
Familiar with GAAP
High school diploma required, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is highly valued
Capable of using property management software, such as Yardi
Experience in real estate industry preferred
Strong Skills with Microsoft Office
2+ years of Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
Compensation
$45,000 – $53,000 yearly
