Job Description

Accounting Principals is now hiring for a Commercial Real Estate Accounting Clerk in New Port Richey!  The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience working within commercial real estate counting and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Lock Box receipt application
  • Tenant/Owner check application, updates and maintenance
  • Deposit preparation, scanning and posting
  • Process and pay invoices
  • Calculate, file and remittance of monthly commercial and residential returns
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Clerical tasks – filing, departmental mail distribution
  • Assist accounting department as needed

Requirements:

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs
  • Work within deadlines and time constraints
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Outlook) and Adobe
  • 1-2 years of Commercial Real Estate accounting experience
