Job Description
Accounting Principals is now hiring for a Commercial Real Estate Accounting Clerk in New Port Richey! The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience working within commercial real estate counting and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lock Box receipt application
- Tenant/Owner check application, updates and maintenance
- Deposit preparation, scanning and posting
- Process and pay invoices
- Calculate, file and remittance of monthly commercial and residential returns
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Clerical tasks – filing, departmental mail distribution
- Assist accounting department as needed
Requirements:
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs
- Work within deadlines and time constraints
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Outlook) and Adobe
- 1-2 years of Commercial Real Estate accounting experience
