REMOTE position
Primary Responsibilities:
· Search, analyze, and monitor real estate market to identify opportunities
· Monitor market conditions to determine/verify a project’s viability
· Develop specialized, localized research on the real estate market, where such opportunities exist. Such research should be directly related to the type of real estate in question
· Prepare financial or feasibility studies on potential projects or opportunity
· If potential project is sizable, identify the impact of the project on the economics of the region
· Once a project is approved, perform due diligence, this includes review of contracts, preparation of budgets, historical search (sales history, real estate tax history, liens, legal issues, leases etc.)
· Identify opportune moments to sell current property and research new areas to invest in
· Build and maintain working relationships to acquire market insights from lenders, appraisers, brokers, and research professionals
· Form limited liability companies and other entities, if needed
· Prepare and track transactional documentation from letters of intent / offer to purchase, through completion of closing binders
· Perform special projects/analysis for the CEO
Education and Skills:
· Acute research skills
· Keen analytical skills
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Ability to work remotely
· Work with minimum supervision
· Certified Paralegal is preferred
· Knowledge of real estate law
· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Real Estate is a plus
· Ability to learn new skills
· Well organized
· Multi-tasking
· Proficient in MS Office and G Suite
· Social media expertise
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field
