Description

I. POSITION SUMMARY

Provides support to the restaurants within a particular territory regarding property management issues.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Supports Restaurant Operations related to property management issues in the timely resolution with Landlord or other 3rd parties while fostering a positive and effective business relationship.
  • Tracks incidents in the ABase database.
  • Negotiate lease renewals, contracts or subleases for dispositions and obtains internal approval and prepare related documents.
  • Negotiate, obtain internal approval and document consent requests for additions, or alterations, changes in operations (ie lunch restriction elimination, etc.) needed from Landlord or other 3rd parties and responds to Landlord or other 3rd party requests for consent along with recommendations.
  • Ensures any agreements such as lease renewals, amendments, licenses, consents and requests are prepared, reviewed, negotiated, and executed in the best interest of BBI.
  • Collects money from external parties on facility and property management resolutions.
  • Responds to default notices from Landlords or other third parties regarding property management issues.

III. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or closely related field of study, preferred.

Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in Commercial Real Estate Property Management required, preferably in retail or restaurant transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Visio required.
  • Ability to independently examine/interpret Real Estate Contracts and Leases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and follow up.
  • Strong drafting skills related to preparation of various types of real estate documents.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Self- starter with ability to adapt and interact professionally with all levels of management.
  • Strong customer service.
  • Team building skills.
  • Experience with SAP, Accruent, and/or Expesite software a plus.
  • Must be intuitive to appropriately assess and analyze risk, with strong problem solving/analytical skills to develop action plans to mitigate adverse impact to BBI
  • Strong ability to self manage.
