Full Job Description
McMichael & Gray, PC is seeking a Pre-Closer and Closer in our Tampa Area offices. The candidate should have at least two (2) years of resale and builder transaction experience working with a real estate law firm. Pre-closing responsibilities would include reviewing purchase contracts for accuracy, open initial file in Softpro Select, professionally communicate with brokers, builders, agents and lenders throughout the closing process, obtain title, taxes, payoffs, HOA letters, termite, survey, prepare title commitments, and title curative. The Closer should know how to accurately prepare preliminary and final title opinions, prepare title policies, review loan documents and prepare CD’s and Alta’s, balance and fund files, and follow up for cancellations needed for post-closing.
In addition to experience, the ideal applicant will have strong multitasking skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience with multiple daily closings. The applicant will also have the ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment. The applicant must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and provide exceptional customer service. Experience with SoftPro Select is a plus.
