Purpose of Job
This is an entry level position within the USAA Federal Savings Bank Real Estate Fulfillment department. Responsible for performing multiple administrative tasks for the Real Estate Processor and Closer. Works with both internal and external parties to ensure the mortgage loan application is complete and the loan moves from application to funding quickly and smoothly.
*Work Schedule Monday – Friday – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – EST
WORK AT HOME REQUIREMENTS
Member contact employees must have access to minimum broadband internet connection standards as defined by USAA. Current requirements are as follows:
Bandwidth must have minimum capability of consistent speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Wireless and Satellite coverage is currently not approved.
Must be able to provide workspace at home that is safe, suitable for work, and provide a distraction free environment from background noises that may distract a member or internal USAA customer
Job Requirements
Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
Follows written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.
Reviews loan application package documents and updates Cadence, RealEC, and WebLGY with required information to satisfy loan fulfillment requirements for final submission to closing.
Will make external contact with third parties such as Realtors, Title companies and Insurance Agents in facilitation of required information needed to support the closure of a loan, to include entering of closing dates and locations scheduling requests with proper coordination.
Reviews and follows established SLOs required for the ordering of the appraisal up to final appraisal valuation through the Real EC and WebLGY system.
Orders and follows up with current mortgagor on payoff requests.
Organizes and maintains loan packaging files and relevant correspondence through proper execution of imaging, uploading, and labeling of mortgage loan documents to Cadence system.
Reviews the closing protection letter and wiring instructions, completes wire screen and submits for wire validation.
Performs any administrative tasks as required by Real Estate Fulfillment.
Minimum Experience:
- High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma
- Up to 1-year of experience in a customer facing environment, to include multi-tasking in a fast-paced and complex operational sales/service business environment.

- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $33,280.00 – $4,200.00 *(this does not include geographical differential, it may be applied based on your work location)
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
*Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
