Real Estate Management Executive Assistant/Bookkeeping Assistant

Privately owned real estate investment firm seeking an experienced individual that has been in a property management environment AND has some bookkeeping skills, including direct experience with QuickBooks. A minimum of 5 years working in the real estate industry is a must. The person will help manage the real estate portfolio in Tampa Bay and provide support to the bookkeeping department.

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Excellent communication skills and upbeat attitude

· Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Programs. Experience with Rent Manager a plus

· Excellent phone skills, a real self-starter and takes initiative

· Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong customer service skills and mindset

· Excellent planning and prioritization skills

DUTIES INCLUDE but not limited to:

· Answer office phone calls

· Interview prospective tenants, process tenant application and prepare leases

· In office collection of rents, and prepare and make bank deposits

· Schedule and coordinate property maintenance visits with tenants and service personnel

· Assist corporate controller with office and accounting functions (bank reconciliations, accounting data entry, payroll processing, office filing, etc.)

· Assist owners with various administrative duties (write letters, make travel arrangements, etc.)

· Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 5:30

A standard background check including criminal and credit will be required.
