Full Job Description
Vaughn Law PLLC in St. Petersburg, FL is a small, but busy law firm seeking a full time Real Estate Paralegal/ Closer to assist with closing transactions. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication and organizational skills, and be detail orientated. Must have some experience with real estate title.
Responsibilities
· Open new client files
· Communication with realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers and clients to ensure a smooth a closing
· Review and Order title commitments and lien searches
· Calendar events and ensure timely completion of events
· Satisfy title requirements and clear title defects
· Prepare Closing Documents
· Review signed closing documents for accuracy
Qualifications
· Highly organized and reliable
· Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
· Accuracy and Attention to detail required
Education & Skills
· High School Diploma required
· Must be proficient in typing
· Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Aps, and Adobe Acrobat
· Experience with Simplifile and E-Closing is a plus, but not required
· Notary License is a plus
