Job Description
EquiAlt, LLC is looking for an outstanding Real Estate Portfolio Assistant. Our office performs a multitude of functions in real estate, including but not limited to: analyzing properties, rehabbing distressed houses, bidding on auctions and short sales, submitting offers through contracts, leasing and selling properties, etc. The role of the Portfolio Assistant is to assist the Portfolio Manager in clerical tasks, data entry, contractor and vendor relations, showing property, property inspections, tenant follow-up, and more as needed. Position will require occasional travel to properties in the Tampa Bay area. Reliable transportation required.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
- Assist Portfolio Managers in day-to-day operations
- Follow up on work orders and maintenance requests
- Data entry
- Maintain insurance on portfolio properties
- Create and maintain property, vendor, and project files
- Deliver notices to properties, as needed
- Show properties to prospective tenants
- Respond to prospective tenant inquiries
- Respond to vendor and tenant questions in a timely manner
- Maintain logs and reports necessary for the overall operation of the portfolio
- Regular email correspondence/updates
- Any other reasonable work related responsibilities assigned by the Portfolio and other managers
Requirements and Skills
- Organized
- Basic knowledge of building structures
- Experience with administrative duties
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Strong work ethic
- Tech Savvy
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between properties, as needed
- Smart cellular phone
