The Real Estate Construction Lead oversees the execution of ground up new build development and retrofit work in Retail Branches.
The Real Estate Construction Lead will work with all internal and external partners to manage and lead the completion high volume, complex projects in any given region. In this capacity, you will be responsible to follow given protocols, processes and procedures to complete tasks in a consistent manner, driving quality, adherence to budget requirements, timeliness, and accurate brand application. You will be responsible for overseeing and full project execution validating work completed to Chase standards and agreed upon schedules.
Specific Roles:
Manage, direct, and monitor activities for the submission of all design review and budgeting packages to Regional team and Area director of Construction
Coordinate all due diligence activity for sites prior to approval
Responsible for working with architects vendors and consultants to obtain municipal approvals, and to ensure timely compliance as well as monitoring any changes that effect the project budget.
Ensure all projects and activities are completed at national specifications and engineering requirements.
Oversee facilities partners for site assessment and execution of the project.
Coordinate project teams and partner resources for program execution.
Resolve issues, escalate, and ensure all key stakeholders are informed.
Travel to retail markets to ensure projects are correctly planned and executed according to national standards.
5-8 years in the construction, retail branding/signage, engineering, and/or real estate industry
Proven track record of leading and completing 100’s of projects with precision.
8-10 years in program management required
4 year degree (preferably in design, marketing, construction management, or architecture)
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to be flexible and effectively work with others as a team
Possess a proven track record of achieving results; able to make decisions with a strong bias for action
Excellent project and budget management skills
Field based position with the ability to travel up to 35-40% of the time (much of the travel is self-directed)
Excel proficient including pivot tables design
Proven conflict management and issue resolution ability.
Effective Communication skills.
