Description

 Managing all construction projects for acquired properties, including rehab and renovation work
Working with the Acquisition Manager to accurately estimate repair/rehab costs
Reviewing and approving rehab estimates and budgets, and overseeing the bidding process
Identifying new vendors and managing existing vendors, contractors and subcontractors
 Obtaining and appropriately disseminating daily status updates on all in-progress properties
Updating the ?Customer relationship management? with renovation updates and deadlines
Giving final sign-off on properties and communicating to the team that they are ready to sell/lease
Provide project status reports during periodic staff meetings.
Schedule and coordinate the completion of submittal data, operation and maintenance manuals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with the construction schedule.
Provide technical assistance, i.e., engineering, interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
Authorize and maintain extra work estimating and authorization of change orders.
Conduct on site visits/inspections as required ascertaining productivity of trades, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
Distribute, follow up, and respond in writing to all punch list items in a timely manner.
 Monitor project costs and forecast future project costs.

Requirements

 Good knowledge of Excel/Numbers and their principal formulas?
Minimum of three years construction or engineering project management in MEP industry.
Real estate license
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction including: technology; equipment; methods; engineering; estimating; schedules and safety required.
Excellent communication, organization and supervisor skills.
