 About The Position

 We are looking for an experienced Recruiter / Team Leader for the position of Director of Business Development for the Sarasota/Manatee market area. The position will be based our of the Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota Area.

 The Director of Business Development will be primarily focussed on driving aggressive growth in the number of licensed real estate agents within the Sarasota / Manatee market area, with building strong consultative relationships with the top agents in the organization.  The successful candidate will have high capacity in building interpersonal relationships, and will be an inspirational and effective oral and written communicator.

Compensation package includes a base salary, plus performance bonuses, overrides and ongoing, residual revenue sharing, as well as stock options and other benefits. 

  Duties & Responsibilities

The Director of Business Development is a senior management role within Realty Partners, and will be responsible for:

  • Leading strategic initiatives to rapidly recruit high producing and high potential real estate agents to the firm
  • Provide business development and financial management consulting to top agents within the office, helping them make dramatic growth in their personal production and performance
  • Help accelerate the financial performance of the office
  • Promote a strong training and learning based environment
  • Maintain and support a positive and empowering culture that is designed to challenge and support associates to reach their full potential

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills
  • High-growth or start-up experience preferred
  • Ability to build powerful relationships and recruit effectively and consistently
  • Self-motivated and self directed
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Strong proficiency with Internet tools, web based applications and Microsoft Office applications
 

We are looking for a self-motivated, smart, ambitious, entrepreneurial, driven, successful, passionate professional who has a minimum of 2 years experience and a successful track record as a recruiter in the real estate industry. You have to be extremely tech-savvy with the ability to learn and embrace new technologies quickly. 

 You must be a Florida licensed real estate sales person or broker, in good standing.
