Job Description
PwC’s US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm’s financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements.
Finance has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, assisting with the integration (including system needs) and educating partners/managers on how to navigate our various financial systems.
The Real Estate Department provides a comprehensive suite of services to its internal customers including: real estate financial analysis and reporting; budgeting and forecasting; site selection and delivery of space all while controlling costs. This organization’s operations are housed in Tampa focused on helping Line of Service Leaders, Market Leaders, Sector Leaders and their partners and managers deliver the Unique Client Experience. The National Real Estate (NRE) Operations function manages and executes the US firm’s real estate strategy and portfolio, providing oversight to internal and external resources for the execution of the firm’s real estate initiatives and strategy, collaborating with stakeholders across the firm to deliver comprehensive solutions to complex real estate projects and initiatives.
Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED
Degree Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering
Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates intimate knowledge of, and/or success in managerial roles involving, corporate real estate architectural and interior design, construction practices, construction accounting and commercial leases, preferably for a global network of professional consulting services firms, emphasizing an understanding of the following areas:
-Project management;
-Construction Project Controls;
-Construction Contracts;
-Construction Accounting;
-Construction Law;
-Real Estate Leases; and,
-Corporate Real Estate Design and Construction.
Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs in Construction Project Controls, with overall capability in the area of Corporate Real Estate Design and Project Delivery, preferably for a global network of professional consulting services firms, emphasizing the following areas:
-Construction contracts management;
-Capital Projects related financial and budgeting management;
-Construction cost control management;
-Lease and vendor agreement negotiation skills;
Proven ability to:
–
Work in a team environment and lead teams;
– Perform cost-benefit analysis;
– Prepare management reports;
– Problem solve and conduct critical thinking
– Conduct Executive level communication and presentations
– Recommend and implement change; and,
– Utilize Microsoft Office to complete schedule and budget financial analysis.
Location for applicant can be anywhere on EST or CST zone territory.
