JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting the Florida division real estate group through analysis and coordination of single and multi-site acquisitions as well as development/re-development projects, property management issues and divestitures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintains the regional market plans by aligning with long-term corporate objectives and communicating throughout the organization
  • Conducts data analysis including real estate benchmarking, financial analysis, demographic analysis and market segmentation, market gap analysis, growth plan modeling and competitor insight analysis
  • Responsible for preparing store location approval packages for routing of single/multi-site acquisitions and development projects. Will also serve as key resource for any other approval package preparation.
  • Point person for departmental reporting including real estate development tracking report.
  • Coordinates due diligence review for development and acquisition projects through consultation with real estate department, other departments within the company, and outside principals including engineers, planning staff and developers.
  • Maintains high level of communication with company employees and external contacts, to obtain, interpret, or give information, all of which involves the negotiating, sharing, obtaining or discussing of both routine and unusual issues and may be verbal or written, requiring basic courtesy and tact and often items of a confidential nature.
  • Ensures compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations; advising management on needed actions.
  • Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
  • Two years or more of experienced preferred working in an asset management/real estate development environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and demographic analysis tools.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills
