Transaction Coordinator – Real Estate Investment

Our rapidly growing real estate company is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to facilitate the transactions process for properties purchased and controlled by the company. The Transaction Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of transactions from the executed purchase agreement to closing. This will require learning, understanding, and implementation of the company philosophy regarding the handling of transactions and meeting closing deadlines, ensuring a smooth experience for our buyers and sellers.

Finally, the ideal candidate will have previous Transaction Coordination experience, a keen eye for details, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment. Someone who responds positively to unpredictable situations, remains flexible with others and uses their persuasive communication style to coordinate multiple closings with our customers and title companies across multiple markets. The ideal candidate must be assertive when necessary and ensure that all company transactions are moving forward correctly with each file, but also have the ability to professionally communicate with our buyers and sellers and provide exceptional customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of buyer & seller transactions from executed purchase agreement to closing.
  • Coordinate title/escrow, mortgage loan and appraisal processes.
  • Coordinate inspections, assist in negotiations regarding repairs and coordinate completion of repairs.
  • Coordinate with Sellers, title companies, local municipalities and other parties for the clearing of any violations, open permits or any other items that might be encumbering the property.
  • Coordinate showings & obtain feedback.
  • Regularly update & maintain communication with clients, agents, title officer, lender etc. and update internal CRM daily.
  • Submit all necessary documentation to office broker for file compliance.
  • Coordinate moving/possession schedules and escrow holdbacks if necessary
  • Schedule, coordinate & attend closings (if needed).
  • Input all client information into client database system.
  • Consult & coordinate with sellers / buyer / tenants / property inspectors all property photos, staging, repairs, cleaning, signage, lockbox access requirements
  • Obtain all necessary signatures on all agreements, disclosures and other necessary documentation.
  • Provide proactive weekly feedback to sellers and buyers regarding closing timelines
  • Coordinate all public open houses and broker open houses.
  • Input all listing information into MLS and marketing websites and update as needed.
  • Submit all necessary documentation to office broker for file compliance.
  • Input all necessary information into client database and transaction management systems.
  • Prepare all listing materials: pre-listing presentation, Listing Agreement, sellers’ disclosures, comparative market analysis, pull online property profile, research old multiple listing service (MLS) listings and etc.

The homes we purchase are typically below market value and in need of some renovation, which is exactly what our buyers are seeking. Required skill set:

  • Minimum of 1-2+ years of experience in transaction management or coordination, titles, and/or mortgages
  • Real Estate industry experience
  • Comfortable earning a base salary + commission

Desired skill set:

  • High school diploma or GED required, preferably some college experience
  • Obtained real estate license or are currently pursuing
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Commission pay
