GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Real Property Officer develops, organizes, administers, and coordinates the Real Property Program, which includes writing all Grants, ACES-RP entries (demolitions, new facilities, corrections, space moves, updates), AMC taskings and maintains all Real Property Records.

Specific Job Functions:

  • Assists the Government by providing advice on administrative real estate matters
  • Works closely with the space manager to report, track, and revise ACES-RP data in support of all S File and other AF space usage initiatives
  • Responsible for performing real estate functions and preparing all appropriate documents related to the acquisition, disposal, utilization, and management of government property to include effective and efficient accountability and reporting for all real property (per the most current AF directives)
  • Coordinates with the RPO COR to meet frequency requirements for Survey, Installation Boundary reviews, Real Property Records, and Grant Compliance Inspection
  • In accordance with the AFI, will perform end-of-year closeouts, annual boundary inspections, and annual facility inspections
  • Conducts disposal actions before any facility demolition
  • Maintains facility condition codes in the government designated system
  • Acts as the Functional Area Agreement Coordination (FAAC) to ensure support agreements and procedures are established and maintained between tenants and host organizations and that nonstandard agreements are routed through the appropriate governing agency
  • Performs related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

  • Knowledge of Air Force Easements, Air Force Real Estate Accounting, Air Force Real Estate Transactions, Support Agreement Reviews and various engineering disciplines
  • Familiarity with ACES-RP
  • Excellent judgment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced/changing environment
  • Strong communicator with excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills
  • Computer and keyboard skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to hold a Secret Clearance

REQUIRED:

  • 20-30 years’ work experience, minimum of 5 years’ experience in Easements, Real Estate and Real Estate transactions
  • A Degree in Real Estate or related field
