Job Summary

Our Administration department is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Receptionist / HR Assistant. This position provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This role is responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, and assisting the HR Manager with building maintenance and other HR related tasks. This position reports to the HR Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
  • Greets and directs visitors. Ensures entrance area reflects appropriate company image.
  • Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail and packages. Maintains and routes publications.
  • Assists with other clerical duties.
  • Primary initial contact for building tenants, escalates billing and complex needs to HR Manager.
  • Submits and tracks maintenance requests. Maintains contacts for building repair network.
  • Works with HR Manager on all building maintenance billing and coordination of temporary general maintenance laborer needs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Position may occasionally require overtime and work on weekends.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associates degree.
  • 2+ years of customer service, receptionist, or executive assistant experience in a formal corporate work environment.

Preferred Experience

  • HR Assistant or Executive Assistant experience.
