Our small but growing law firm is looking for a dedicated Receptionist to handle client-facing duties as well as general legal assistant tasks. When our clients walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
SKILLS:
· Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
· Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
· Must possess excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented
· Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
DUTIES:
· Provide secretarial support to one or more lawyers and/or paralegals at the firm
· Edit and proofread all legal documents
· Maintain attorney calendar by scheduling conferences
· Organize all legal documents and ensure they are updated
· Answer emails and phone calls, and when necessary, redirect calls
· Firm Errands
* Experience in a law firm environment for at least two years, performing at least secretarial duties including e-filing and service, file maintenance, form and document creation, and email and telephone communications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 – $14.00 per hour
