Job Description: Records Entry Specialist
Department: Public Records
Location: Cooperate HQ
Report to: Public Records Supervisor
Pay Status: $9.00 – $11.50 hourly
Position Summary
This position requires individuals to perform accurate data entry ensuring strict compliance with federal and state law, as well as client
and company reporting guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position includes the following responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- • Perform data entry using word processing, spreadsheet or database commands across one or more business units and format
- material as required
- • Analyze presented information in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies prior to entry
- • Identify exceptions to the standard operating procedures of the position and escalate them as necessary
- • Consistently meet the established daily unit quota for the position based on the services being performed
- • Produce quality output with an accuracy/error rate that is within thresholds defined by the position, with and without direct
- supervision
- • Work accurately and effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
- • Basic clerical duties
Qualification/ Requirements
- · Computer literate with a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and database entry
- · Detail-oriented, able to follow up standard operating procedures
- · Strong keyboard skills (70 WPM, 95% accuracy)
- · Properly handle confidential information and records
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30
- p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
- · Availability in evenings and some weekends may also be required.
- · Part time employment may also be considered if agreed upon in advance with management

- High School Education or GED equivalent.
