REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Supervises:Community Association Managers

Must have active CAM license

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Director is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing the Property Manager who is responsible for operational, administrative, financial, human resources, maintenance and security functions of multiple communities.  The Regional Director is required to be on call 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency consultation in the event of incidents requiring management intervention.  All services of the Regional Director are under the direct supervision of Castle Management, LLC.

 

The Regional Director also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group.  He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service as it relates to this function. This includes working interdepartmentally, as well as, with our external customers.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (May include some or all of the following as applicable)

  • Supervises hiring and management of direct employees.
  • Completes performance evaluations of direct reports on an annual basis.
  • Ensures personnel are capable of meeting the community’s goals and standards.
  • Attends Annual, Budget, Board of Directors, and/or Special Meetings when needed.
  • Actively pursue new management account leads.
  • Assists with transition of new accounts.
  • Serves as a liaison between Home Office, Property Managers and Board of Director by maintaining open communication and professional relationships.
  • Provides quarterly report to Chief Operations Officer on each site.
  • Oversees budget for all associations in region.
  • Develops and implement Castle Best Practices on-site.
  • Implements training for Castle software.
  • Enforces Castle policies and procedures.
  • Assists in establishing operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention, firefighting, traffic control and parking control.
  • Ensures that hurricane emergency procedures are in place at each site and staff has been trained in those procedures.
  • Evaluates properties that are underperforming and implements strategies for improvement.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:

High school diploma required. Active CAM License required. Associates degree with concentration in Business, Real Estate and/or Hospitality preferred.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

Minimum of four (4) years of business or Property Management experience is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to help create effective customer-focused relationships with all levels within the organization. Effective written and verbal communication skills.  Highly organized, people-oriented individual. Able to work under tight deadlines and use time effectively based on key priorities.  Coaching and training abilities and understanding of Accounting principles are desired.

Computer literacy:

Intermediate to advanced command of computer hardware/software is required; specifically, proficient in the knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including but not limited to; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Language requirements:

English is required. Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Travel and availability requirements:

Required to travel to multiple on-site locations on an as-needed basis. Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirement. Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner, 24-7.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time, will fluctuate day by day. Occasional handling, grasping, and lifting of objects and packages. Extensive use of fingers for typing and visual use of the computer monitor. Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building, as required, to meet the job functions.

Working Conditions:

The majority of work will be completed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment with little to moderate noise levels.  Depending on the community, may regularly be required to walk/work outdoors to perform inspections, regular tours, or attend to other property needs.
