The Regional Director of Operations is a key member of HomeRiver Group’s regional team and is responsible for improvement and implementation of workflow processes, monitoring regional division KPI’s, as well as planning, directing, and coordination of all property management operations functions.  The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies and manage a team of leasing teams, property managers, maintenance coordinators, and other direct reports.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all direct reports are following designated processes
  • Improvement of operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee client and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute towards the achievement of regional strategic and operational objectives
  • Examine and report on regional key performance indicators, and use them to improve profitability and team performance
  • Perform quality controls and monitor staff KPI’s
  • Recruit, develop, and supervise staff
  • Collaborate with Corporate leaders on an on-going basis to identify and implement performance and process initiatives

Education, Skills and Experience

  • Proven work experience in the property management field
  • Budget development and oversight experience
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
  • IT skills (databases, MS Office, property management software)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Leadership and organizational skills

Preferred but not required experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in operations management or related field
  • Seven+ years’ of Residential Property Management experience (both Multi-Family & Single Family experiences).
  • Minimum of three years’ experience supervising/leading work teams
  • Must have a Real Estate License
  • Familiarity with property management software platforms
  • Property management designations or association membership in NARPM, IREM, CCIM, etc.
