The VENDOR SUPPORT SPECALIST provides support to the accounting team and the operations team and reports directly to the Controller. The responsibilities of this position require an assertive, highly organized individual with knowledge of the vendor set up, vendor compliance processing, vendor portal and payment methods for WRH. In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining up to date third party insurances.

Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to multifamily housing.
Vendor Support Specialist
- Communicate with onsite properties on new vendor requests.
- Communicate with vendors regarding approval status and documentation necessary for approval.
- Communicate with vendors on vendor portal options and payment options.
- Supply invoicing instructions and vendor account maintenance to active vendors as needed.
- Maintain vendor contact information and account information subject to appropriate approvals.
- Conduct training for property managers regarding vendor application, approval process, vendor portal and vendor payment options.
- Work with active vendors that fall out of vendor compliance.
- Work with accounting to delete non active vendors.
- Provide vendor support and training as needed.
- Work with national accounts director and operations on ensuring compliance with negotiated pricing for WRH.
- Update contacts for national account representatives.
- Monitor and follow up with vendors that become non-compliant after vendor approval process.
- Suggesting removal of vendors who do not support constant quality.
- Update website with current form/requirements.
- Work with CFO or Controller on changes in insurance requirements.
- Work third party clients on obtaining and maintaining up to date insurance information pursuant to their requirements under the management agreements.
- Work with accounting team to get vendor set up for ACH payments.
General
- Performs any additional duties assigned by the CONTROLLER and CFO.
QUALIFICATIONS · Position requires strong organizational skills, communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. · Computer Skills: Word Processing software experience required. Spreadsheet software, property management software, internet experience. · Work Hours: 40 hours per week. Employee will be required to work a standard Monday through Friday work week consistent with current office hours. Occasional attendance to after hour events may be requested. EDUCATION/TRAINING
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vendor administration or accounts payable experience is preferred.

- Position requires high level of organization with collecting and handling of documentation.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment.
- Performs duties under pressure and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
