| Monitor portfolio for compliance and property management activities. Consult on property operations with a view to protect and ensure the long term viability of portfolio assets. Have first-hand experience managing multifamily properties in the affordable housing market.
Travel: Position is based in Carteret’s corporate office (Tampa), but portfolio may extend to St. Petersburg, Tampa, Brandon, and into Orlando. Regional Manager will spend majority of time performing site visits and working with on-site personnel on issues of physical property condition, file compliance, customer service and employee development. Responsibilities: Regional manager will monitor property performance, evaluate and oversee on-site staff, develop and train on corporate policies and procedures, maintain high level of expertise on affordable housing industry updates and best practices. Position will involve interaction with owners, Boards of Directors, vendors and subcontractors, and other relevant partners. Ideal candidate should be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, professional, and have strong communication skills. Should be able to analyze financial statements, prepare budgets, evaluate contracts, and work with OneSite leasing software. Will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
