We are looking for a Regional Manager for our Florida portfolio. This portfolio consists of 5 properties located in Bradenton, Clermont, Daytona Beach, Mulberry, and Ocala. The ideal candidate will live within 1 hour of one of these markets.

Position Overview: As the Regional Manager you are responsible for overseeing the operations, budgets and staff of your portfolio. You are the leader of your region in regards to your staff and properties.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and implements metrics regarding traffic and conversion of that traffic into leases to ensure that the overall objective of achieving 95% occupancy is achieved
  • Work with the Community Managers to develop and implement a budget per property
  • Regularly monitor each community budget within the portfolio.
  • Manage the portfolio rental rates to maximize income
  • Monitor maintenance of each community within the portfolio and recommends capital improvements to maintain market position
  • Review and recommend all contractors and major purchases for approval
  • Recruit, screen, hire, and train new Community Managers while assisting in the hiring of positions that reporting to your Community Managers
  • Develop employees by providing feedback and growth opportunities
  • Hold staff meetings to disseminate information, review performance and set expectations
  • Coordinate with the Asset Manager to manage investors’ expectations and to set goals

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of on-site multi-family management experience and at least 1+ years experience managing multiple multi-family sites
  • High school diploma or equivalent with some college-level education required, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Industry designations strongly preferred
  • Active apartment association membership preferred
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • YARDI experience preferred
  • Business/financial acumen and hands-on budget management experience
  • Strong marketing and personnel management abilities
