Job Summary

As a Regional Manager you would oversee all the property management goals and objectives for a specific region. You would be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating people, activities and resources in order to maximize the successful operations of properties within a specified region.

Responsibilities and Duties

Essential Job Functions:

  • Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer.
  • Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Takes a hands-on approach to determine and accomplish portfolio objectives and goals.
  • Hires and trains Property Managers on BH Philosophy, Company Policy & Procedures Manual.
  • Employee reviews are conducted in accordance with BH Management’s current review policy.
  • Responsible for ensuring all employees are properly trained, employee reviews are conducted in accordance with BH Management’s current review policy, promotions and salary changes are effectively communicated, disciplinary actions are reviewed up to termination of employment.
  • Effective and regular communication/meetings with employees, owners and RVP.
  • Prepares, evaluates and reviews Market Surveys.
  • Prepares budgets, reviews financial statements and ensures all procedures are followed.
  • Conducts at least a monthly visit to each property in order to walk property, models, shops and vacant units.
  • Visits red and yellow flag properties twice per month. Visits all other properties monthly and completes monthly site audit reports.
  • Establishes unit pricing based on weekly market surveys.
  • Reviews vendor contracts.
  • Participates in the Due Diligence process for acquisitions.
  • Oversees and directs all administrative duties in accordance with company policy.
  • Travel 30-50% or as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management preferred
  • Previous Property Management experience preferred
  • CAM/CAPS Licensed Property Manager preferred
  • Yardi Voyager experience preferred
  • Experience in preparing/analyzing financial data, budgets and market surveys
  • MS Office Outlook/Word/Excel skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30-50% or as needed
  • A valid driver’s license may be required
