This role is one of the most important in our business, one that drives engagement, one that drives results, and is the leader of our team.
The Regional Property Manager has full responsibility for running the day-to-day operations at an assigned portfolio which includes : supervision, training, and development of assigned associates to achieve the financial and occupancy goals of a multi-million dollar assets while maintaining the properties in good physical condition and appearance.
The RPM also is a communication conduit, keeping many internal and external stakeholders, owners, and investors in the loop at all times.
What Will You Be Responsible For?
- Overall staff management : hire, train, review performance, and empower staff to build a cohesive team in exceeding the property’s goals and objectives.
- Adhere to and ensure that all on-site team associates adhere to Company’s safety program policies and procedures.
- You will solve problems for residents, vendors, and associates.
- Lead and actively participate in vendor management, i.e. negotiate contracts, delinquencies, etc.
- Prepare weekly reporting packages, consult with owners on needed capital improvements and repair of property, all while maintaining the very best positive relationship with them.
- You will manage multi location budgets and your team’s phenomenal results will speak for themselves!
- You will participate in potential client conversations and assist with evaluating potential takeovers.
- You’ll slay administrative tasks with a vengeance (reports, etc.) while dancing to Justin Timberlake in the background!
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by your manager.
How Will You Be the Right Fit?
Education : High School Degree Required. College Degree Preferred.
Experience : Five years of leadership experience in the Property Management industry. Preferred prior experience at the Regional Property Manager level.
Special Skills, Knowledge, Abilities : Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to travel as necessary or as required.
Knowledge utilizing Property Management software including but not limited to; OneSite Leasing and Rents, Ops technology, Yardi, Yieldstar, LRO.
Certification / Licenses : Not required but a plus to have industry certifications such as ARM, CAM, or CPM.
