U-Haul is filling a variety of remote positions including:
- A part-time in-bound service and support agent
- A full-time customer service agent
- A part-time bilingual customer support agent
These are all call-center type gigs where you’ll be answering calls from home and working to resolve customers’ concerns. That could include problems with payments, assistance with hitch products, helping resolve truck or trailer issues or answering any general questions that may arise.
The full-time and bilingual support agents will handle escalated calls from customers.

Shifts vary for these work-from-home jobs, but you must be available to work at least one weekend day and on holidays.
Online orientation will take place April 29 and May 2. After that, you must attend three weeks of training — which is paid and also held online — from May 6 through May 24.

Customer Service Agents at U-Haul
Pay: $15 an hour for the bilingual role. Pay not specified for the other roles.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling multiple customer calls in a fast-paced environment
- Resolving customer problems and documenting the resolution
Applicants for this position must have:
- Excellent communication skills and clear speaking voice
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of U.S. geography
- The availability to work on weekends and holidays
- A quiet, distraction-free work space
- A laptop or PC with Windows 7, 8 or 10 OS. The computer needs to have at least 8G of RAM and a CPU score of at least 2500.
- Secure internet connection with download speeds of at least 5 MB and upload speeds of at least 2 MB.
- A non-wireless USB headset with a microphone
- A webcam for interacting with the supervisor
- Fluency in English and Spanish (for the bilingual role only)
