Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will perform with superior problem-solving skills, must be highly organized and detail oriented. Excellent writing and communication skills a must. Candidate must be proactive and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines. Must possess the ability to work independently and interdependently on most workdays. Daily work schedule shall be Monday – Friday flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. The REO Specialist must be highly organized, motivated and work well in a fast-passed environment. Excellent writing and communication skills, along with a high technical aptitude is a must for this position. Must have previous REO experience.Under general supervision, complete pre-listing tasks.

Qualifications:

• REO operations experience
• BA, Real Estate Professional, or Associates degree with Real Estate Operations Experience.
• Self-Motivated, Team Player, Interdependent, and Punctual
• Excellent advanced technical skills required in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, OneDrive.
• Ability to work independently in a complex fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communications, strong attention to detail, and solid proofreading skills.
• Superb technical writing skills
• Must be a self-starter, with the ability to take initiative and complete tasks with limited supervision.
• Excellent Organizational Skills
• Ability to work on multiple platforms

Qualifications Required:

• Requires a minimum high school diploma or its equivalent
• Two years of real estate related operational experience
• Requires a minimum of 1 year REO operational experience

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

General duties and responsibilities include:
• Interface and coordinate activities with other departments within the firm, real estate agents, and vendors
• Must be proactive and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines
• Confirm utilities
• Order occupancy
• Order rekey and initial bid for services
• Check Tax Records
• Contact HOA to obtain fees, past due balances, Covenants & Bylaws, etc.
• Check code enforcement for open violations
• Order weekly occupancy checks
• Make sure all tasks in REO platform are complete or underway
• Ensure appropriate invoices from Vendors are processed for payment/reimbursement
• Coordinate Vendors on various work requests
• Order BPO’s, MMR’s and inspections
• Other duties may be assigned
