As a Redfin Real Estate Agent, you’ll be out in the field, working within a territory as a full-time employee with benefits and a career path. We’ll be there every step of the way, providing a steady income and reimbursement for major expenses so you can start earning money from day one. This role will focus mainly on listing REO properties and bringing them to close. You will need to learn the ins and outs of bank owned homes and the process from receiving a listing to marketing and closing the property in the most efficient manner.
The Role
· Leads will be given to you directly by Redfin —no prospecting required, no listing consultations required
· Build relationships with asset managers and vendors to help navigate the marketing and sale of bank owned properties
· Receive hands-on training and mentoring in programs designed to support your success
· Benefit from a full team of support staff responsible for scheduling, coordination, and the closing process
· Use our custom-built online and mobile tools to access the latest market data and manage your transactions, client information, and more
· Promote into a senior agent role based on performance
· Learn the niche market of listing and selling Bank Owned home
Job Duties:
· Communicate with asset manager
· Perform verification of Occupancy
· Weekly Inspections
· Complete BPO(s)
· Listing the property and monitoring maintenance
· Obtain repair bids, if necessary
· Ensure repairs are complete, if necessary
· Market the property until sold
Skills & Experience
· Real estate license (required)
· REO experience preferred but not required
· Equator experience preferred
· Customer-advocate mindset and a commitment to delivering the best client experience possible
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Knowledge of your local community
· Enthusiasm for learning new tech tools
· Organization and problem solving skills
