We are seeking a research data analyst to join our team in Tampa. Our Data Analyst will help to guide all aspects of the local data platform for industrial data collected and analyzed for the State of Florida, consisting of six research markets. Our analyst will contribute to elevating a best-in-class data, analytics and research program that differentiates JLL and drives a competitive advantage in the marketplace through data, analysis, market expertise, insight and innovation. This team member will be responsible for achieving data excellence, to enhance our offerings in the areas of market intelligence, data visualization, and graphical output. You will have primary responsibility for collecting and analyzing data, maintaining and constantly elevating the quality of our data and creating analysis around that data that is funneled to the Research team and clients. Our Data Analyst will have direct responsibility for the Florida commercial real estate market and will work closely with JLL Research leadership in Tampa. The position may require limited travel to other Florida markets.
What this job Involves:
- Collect, maintain, enhance and audit of JLL’s proprietary database of commercial real estate property, development, lease, tenant, sale, owner, availabilities for industrial records.
- Maintain an above-acceptable level of data completeness to include data validation and audit levels.
- Meet short-term, medium-term and long-term deadlines required to complete the data collection and analysis in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development and creation of compelling visual communications, integrating JLL’s proprietary research data, for the purposes of business development, external distribution, and client requests.
- Contribute to the production of all local industrial research reports and collateral.

- Strong organization, data collection, validation and auditing skills.
- Up to one year in commercial real estate research, economic and demographic analysis or closely related field
- Command of local markets and business, with good understanding of macro trends and historical perspective
- High level analytical skills and problem-solving ability and written and oral communication skills
- Experience managing workload, report productions and programs
- Ability to effectively and professionally meet client expectations and positively represent the firm
- Ability to multi-task, succeed under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
- Proactive and strategic thinking and ability to align research with the business and innovate research output
- Command of requisite technology including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and database systems
- Comfort with visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power View) and basic presentation and mapping skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or related field
- Motivated and self-starting with a desire to succeed and contribute to the success of a team
- A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
